Wow, after seeing the embarrassing blasphemy on Monday, as we honored MLK Day! A day of honoring not only one of our best Black leaders but Human leaders, some of the “honoring” or “celebrating” made MLK turn in his grave!
Now everyone is entitled to celebrate, honor, and recognize events and holidays the way THEY want. As we have the freedom to make choices on our own, but these choices have consequences.
With everything going on with the pandemic to the racial injustice and turmoil, in my opinion this was CLEARLY the wrong message. In the ongoing struggle for equality and acceptance, these type of things definitely take us back a few steps. How can we expect society who already belittles, mistreats, neglects, and shuns Black America to take black people serious with irreverence for yourself or your own people such as these actions???
Our people are seen as only “entertainment” and nothing more unfortunately. Actions such as these continue to push us back. Regardless of the millions of positives examples and actions being taken by our people, which better the world and our communities. We live in a world where more times than none the negatives, embarrassments, and drama are what’s glorified and exalted instead.
Politicians speaking to entertainers like the Cardi B’s or Lil Wayne’s and other irrelevant entertainers who don’t have our best interest in mind, only themselves and could care less how they ruin our people’s image! They don’t speak to knowledgeable people who will promote positivity and change for a reason 🤔
Anyone with any sense see’s how this has been part of the plan from day 1 to destroy us. The enemy doesn’t have to take us out, unfortunately people take themselves out, as they’ve been given all the tools they need to destroy themselves!!!
